IIT Madras:
The third IIT to launch a B.Tech program in AI in 2021. The program has an intake of 30 students per year and focuses on the theory and practice of AI.

IIT Kharagpur:
The fourth IIT to start a B.Tech program in AI in 2021. The program has an intake of 50 students per year and aims to provide a holistic and multidisciplinary education on AI.
The curriculum includes courses on mathematics, statistics, programming, data structures, algorithms, AI ethics and social impact, as well as electives and projects on various domains of AI.
